Appraiser Trainee

If you're looking for an exciting career in the ever-evolving agriculture industry and want to help improve rural America in our local community, Central Kentucky Ag Credit might be the place for you. 

We are looking for someone to join our appraisal team in central Kentucky.   This team member will work with an established, certified appraiser to perform real estate appraisals. 

Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a generous 401K match, and a vacation and sick accrual schedule that can compete with any organization.  Central Kentucky Ag Credit employees generally do not work weekends, evenings, and are off on 12 holidays each year.   

Central Kentucky Ag Credit is part of the Farm Credit System, which is a nationwide network of cooperative lending institutions that provide credit and financially related services to farmers, ranchers and their cooperatives.  With more than 100 years of agricultural lending experience, the System is the largest single producer of agricultural credit in the United States.  

The cooperative structure of Central Kentucky Ag Credit allows farmer-borrowers to own and control the Association and keeps the Association committed to serving rural credit needs. This is an important feature that sets the Association apart from most other commercial lenders. 

Responsibilities:
•    Under the direction of a senior appraiser, complete comprehensive appraisals. 
•    Maintains and ensures loan officers receive current data on properties that represent a cross section of the industries served 
•    Maintains knowledge of current real estate values and changes occurring in the area, as well as agricultural economics that may impact value. 
•    Continue to improve skills through the pursuit of continuing education in appraisal and related fields.
•    Assists in preparing required special reports.

Information Systems Support Associate
Lexington, Kentucky

We are looking for someone to join our Information Technology team in Lexington, Kentucky.   This team member will work to solve basic and routine problems and improve the efficiency of operational, interactive and network systems

Information Systems Support Associate Responsibilities:
•    Serve as first level support to identify, research, and resolve technical problems for branches and administrative office. Respond to telephone calls, email and staff requests for technical assistance. Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution. Troubleshoot use of applications on the network, data communication, connectivity and other workstations network issues.
•    Set up and distributes hardware, software and other communication tools to each branch office.  
•    Work with Information Systems Specialist and Management in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all technology hardware and communication systems.

Loan Assistant - Lebanon, Kentucky

We are looking for someone to join our lending team at our office in Lebanon, Kentucky.   This team member will perform a wide range of accounting, processing and office activities. •    Completes routine office duties and assists in preparation of required branch office reports.
•    Assists in ensuring that required time-critical items are properly maintained.
•    Ensures that internal controls are maintained in accordance with all requirements.
•    Assists in preparing required special reports.

Loan Officer or Loan Officer Trainee - Lexington and Lebanon, Kentucky

Job Overview: Central Kentucky Ag Credit, the Bluegrass Region’s premier rural lending institution, is seeking a Loan Officer or Loan Officer Trainee. This position will be accountable for the promotion and delivery of sound credit to customers in the central Kentucky area. The customer base is a diversified mix of beef cattle, equine, row crop and tobacco farms. Within delegated authority, the position is responsible for managing credit quality, credit administration and portfolio performance. This position will develop new business and work in a traditional branch structure to ensure that the needs of customers and prospects are met.

Essential Requirements/ Qualifications: Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, agriculture, economics, finance, or related field. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, judgment and communication skills. Farm background with related practical experience and/or experience with a financial institution preferred.
