June 4, 2015 - Jordan Amburgey has been named a Loan Officer with Central Kentucky Ag Credit in Paris, KY. He has already assumed his duties at that location.
Jordan is a native of Montgomery County, with a long-time background in the family farming operation. He is the son of Sam and Teresa Amburgey, who also reside in Montgomery County.
Prior to being selected as a Loan Officer with Ag Credit in Paris, Jordan was District Sales Manager in northern Indiana with Great Lakes Hybrids, a firm that specializes in seed corn, beans and alfalfa. His work involved business matters with seed dealers, direct-to-farm accounts, and with establishment of test plots for the three crops.
Jordan earned his education at Morehead State University, where he obtained a B.S. Degree in Business Administration.
Jordan is also a Sheep Judge and is active in show judging across the United States. He and his family also show and sell market lambs. He is a member of Gateway Church of Christ in Mt. Sterling.
Jordan’s work with Ag Credit will include the broad scope of financial service to full-and part-time farmers and rural residents throughout the region. The Paris Ag Credit Office provides lending services in six counties, including Bourbon, Montgomery, Clark, Franklin, Harrison, and Scott.
