Central Kentucky Ag Credit was honored by the United States of America and President Obama for the 100 Year Anniversary of the Farm Credit System (FCS). The gift was a ceremonial United States flag that was flown over the Capital Building in Washington, D.C. on July 17, 2016 – the 100 Year Anniversary of the Farm Credit System. Along with the flag was a letter of authenticity and a letter from President Obama. In this letter, President Obama stated, “Our Nation depends on our farmers, ranchers, and the people of our rural communities to help Americans put healthy food on their tables and to contribute to growing a more vibrant national economy. Established to improve the lives of these hardworking individuals, the FCA has long served the women and men of rural America. By providing loans and financial services to farmers and communities through its network of cooperatives, the FCS plays a integral role in local economies across the United States.”
Central Kentucky Ag Credit is honored to be a part of the Farm Credit System and will continue to serve farmers and rural residents in the Bluegrass Region.
