Central Kentucky Ag Credit has developed and launched the WoodSongs Festival Stage as a service to rural communities in the Bluegrass Region.
The unique Ag Credit service is being offered to enhance non-profit public events and educational activities that take place in rural areas throughout central Kentucky.
Ag Credit's WoodSongs Festival Stage has resulted through collaboration between Ag Credit officials and Michael Johnathon, Founder and Host of the WoodSongs Old Time Radio
Hour. Michael is widely known and respected for his singer/songwriter/playwright talents; he is
a strong supporter of the Kentucky Proud program; a resident of Fayette County; and he has
developed the WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour into an internationally-respected program that
showcases grass roots music and performers on a weekly basis.
The WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour is broadcast every Monday night from the historic Kentucky Theater in Lexington, usually filling the theater to capacity, while being broadcast to
over 180 countries on more than 500 radio and television stations worldwide.
